Its been awhile since my last post, I haven't been in my craftroom in a few months and it felt really good to get in there and make a card. I scraplifted this card from Pinterest, I don't know whos card it is but thank you for the idea. I used the Walk in my Garden Cricut cartridge for all the cuts and sewed around the edge of the card. I liked how this card came together and that all the cuts came from the same cartridge.

Thank you card with Cricut E2
Hi everyone! Its been a long time since my last post, almost a year I think.
I finally got back in my craftroom and did some organizing and decided to open my new Cricut E2 that I got at Thanksgiving. I know, I should have opened it and tested it out months ago but I was intimidated by the thought of trying it out. Ive heard so many negatives about it and wasnt sure if I was up to messing with it. (But I did buy the darn thing so I need to turn it on!) My crafting buddies Brenda and Vickie told me it was a learning curve and boy is it. I got it all set up, turned it on, and my fears were layed to rest. Yes, there is a bit of reading and figuring out but it went smoothly. There are some things I would definitely like to change about my E2 that would make it more user friendly but I just need to stick with it.
I made a simple card using the images that are preloaded in the machine. I also used vellum flowers that my friend Vickie gave me.

Card Keeper
Its been awhile since my last post, almost 2 months. Life has been getting in the way or I'm just lazy, I can't decide which. Probably the latter, oh well. I have been crafting off and on so I do have a project to post. I have been busy making cards for my sisters and a folder to keep them in. The cards are just a variety for them to have on hand and the folder I made from some 12 x 24 paper.

Florals Embellished cards
I have been working on some card sets and was finishing up using my Florals Embellished cricut cart when I noticed the silouette feature. The cuts are very pretty so I cut 2 different images as an experiement to see what they looked like and decided to use them. I made 2 cards, each a little different. Sometimes (most times) I tend to cut the main images from a cricut cart and forget to look at the other features and the images there.

Indie Art Card
This is a very simple card using Indie Art. I love this cart, there are so many cuts on it. Images and words, and a blackout and shadow feature which just adds to the different ways it can be used. The butterfly and the scallop circle is done using both of these. The circle is actually a frame when not using the other features.

Telescoping Card
I just love this card! Its a fun card to make and very easy. I found the tutorial here. I made 2 of them, one for Fall and another one to put away in my stash. I used my Cricut to cut the scallops and circles and used Doodlecharms for the leaves and acorn on the fall card. The measurements I used where different than the tutorial.
