Hi, my name is Terri. I want to thank you for joining us today. This is my very first blog hop and I am glad to be taking part in Suzannes blogaversary. For the hop today, I've created 2 birthday cards using DoodleCharms. I cut the cupcake at 6 inches and trimmed off the candle. The present is cut at 4 1/4 inches. Each card has a pocket so I can put a gift card in it. I also embossed the frosting and the bow with my cuttlebug.
I will be giving out blog candy, a $10 giftcard to either Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby Lobby. The winner will be chosen at random. You need to become a follower and leave a comment each day. I will post the winner on the 29th.

Rolled Flowers using Stamping cartridge
Correction: The original post said I used the Cricut cart Indie Art, it was actually Stamping Solutions that has the swirl. I have corrected the post. Sorry for any confusion. Mickey & Friends also has a swirl.
I love all the rolled flower projects I have been seeing, though I don't think I would attempt one of the beautiful wreaths my friend Suzanne makes. I wanted to try some for a project and I thought using them on the wall hangings for my craft room would be perfect. I don't have Flower Shoppe or Art Philosophy that will cut the spirals for you and doing them by hand is not fun (I've tried them and my spiral was wonky). Stamping Solutions cart has a spiral cut on it so I tried that and they came out perfect for what I was using them for. I cut the spiral at 3 1/2 inches, rolled (there are a lot of great tutorials on rolling the flowers on youtube), then used my glue gun to adhere it to the project.

Wall Hangings for my CraftRroom
I made these wall hangings for my craft room. I used some artist canvas I got at Michaels, they come in sets and different sizes. I glued the scrapbook paper to the canvas using my ATG gun not Mod Pog. MP can bubble and warp the thin canvas board. I used vinyl for the letters. I also used several different carts for the cuts. Plantin School Book for the vinyl letters, Indie Art for the butterfly border, flower scroll and the rolled flowers, and Paisley for the paisley.

Cleaning Cricut Mats
Someone on the Cricut messageboard was talking about cleaning mats and I just happened to be cleaning mine today. I thought I would post how I clean mine because I love crafty tips so I will pass this one along. I learned about this product awhile ago and even posted on my old blog about it. It is called Pure Citrus and you can find it at Lowes or Home Depot. Its great for taking off sticky price tags. I started using it to clean my cricut mats also. I lay the mat on a towel in a well ventilated area and spray the mat. It has the most yummy orange smell but can be overpowering. I then use a scraper to get all the gunk and bits of paper off. It comes off so easy, no scrubbing at all. After scraping all the gunk off I wash the mat off in warm sudsy water. Sometimes there is a sticky residue left around the edges so I just spritz again and clean them off. After the mats are dry I cover the edges with low tack tape and spray them with Krylon Easy Tack to reglue them. They are like new.
Indie Art Card
This is a very simple card using Indie Art. I love this cart, there are so many cuts on it. Images and words, and a blackout and shadow feature which just adds to the different ways it can be used. The butterfly and the scallop circle is done using both of these. The circle is actually a frame when not using the other features.

Cuttlebug Folder tag file
I just got my Cuttlebug a few months ago and I have been buying folders for it. I found this idea on Pinterest for keeping track of your folders. Its an easy way to keep them on hand and to take them with you when you are going to buy new ones. I can never remember what I have and don't have. I also like having the tags so I can see what the embossing actually looks like on paper. I used Plantin School Book to make the tags. I am going to laminte them so they will last longer. Thank you Brenda for the idea.

Thank You Cards
It has been a long time since my last post. Yesterday was the first time I have felt like getting into my craft room, I almost forgot what it looked like. Between babysitting my grandsons and the busyness of the holidays my crafty mojo disappeared. I did get some new Cricut carts for Christmas and birthday presents and now I can't wait to start using them. I made a couple of thankyou cards with one of the new ones, Art Nouveau. I really love the end result of this cart but wow there are alot of layers. Little, itty bitty layers. I made 2 of these butterflies from the cart and I love it.
